Well the reason for me creating this online blog is to complete a module of my CIPD Blended learning course and needing to write down how easy it is to use a online blog or challenges faced and then publish my results for the rest of my group to view!

So here goes....

A few challenges i had was actually finding a blogging site that worked, as all my work is done on a company laptop i found a lot of online blogging sites are blocked during works time. So after browsing and searching google i found this one that actually worked!

The whole registeration process is quite easy and straight forward, its just a case of choosing your username and entering a few details - however im familiar with a few other social networking sites and found this fairly easy to navigate. If i was more "technophobe" i may have struggled finding a place to create a blog let alone registering.
The next big challenge I faced was navigating www.blog.co.uk luckily i was clickign away on various icons and found the one called blog and here i am typing away!! The next thing was what to actually write, i feel as if i dont have anything that intereseting to write in my first ever blog,
I suppose i can see the interest especially if you are a expert in a particular field and people would liek to know your opinions!

I suppose the main part of this activity is for me to see if it can be used within a blended learning solution as a way of interacting and posting findings whilst on a blended learning course!...

from my intial apprehension of wether this can be a useful tool, i have noticed quite a few things that can be very useful - the uploading of documents, images and audio/video, the privacy options can allow you to have closed groups of friends etc

I will post more as i carry on playing around

Thanks for reading my babble
